Protect Aromatherapy Blend
Protect Aromatherapy Blend
Hundreds of years ago, during the European plague, a wonderful little recipe was let out of the bag. Four thieves that were robbing victims' bodies were doing so without contracting the disease. Eventually, when they were apprehended, in exchange for a lesser sentence, they had to give up their secret. Turns out, they were from an apothecary family that knew the therapeutic properties of many oils and plants and were guarding themselves from the deadly germs by rubbing these oils on their bodies. As the story goes, they gave up the recipe to the law and since then people have been using it to keep them healthy for generations.
Whether you believe the story of the Four Thieves or not... the idea behind it makes sense. There are certain plant essences that have therapeutic benefits to help keep you healthy. The original recipe is listed in so many variations, but this Protect Aromatherapy was custom blended for Sage Apothecary to help guard against germs and boost your immune system.
