Children & Minor Guest Policy

Sage Healing Collective is a space designed for quiet, relaxation, and wellness. To preserve a peaceful environment for all guests, we kindly ask that children who are not receiving a scheduled service not be brought into Sage Healing Collective.

We also understand that sometimes bringing a child to an appointment is unavoidable. In these circumstances, children may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Sage Healing Collective and the Practitioner providing the service.

When a child accompanies a parent or adult guest:

  • Children must be able to maintain a quiet and peaceful environment that respects other guests and Practitioners.

  • It is preferred that the child/children accompany the parent or adult into the treatment room should remain with that adult for the duration of the appointment.

  • If a child is waiting in the reception area, they must remain seated, use headphones for devices, and respectful of other guests who are waiting for their appointments.

  • Children who are unable to maintain a peaceful environment may be asked to leave, and refunds will not be provided.

Age Guidelines for Services

Our general age guidelines are:

  • Massage, Stretch Therapy, Nail Services, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, and Nutritional Services: Guests must be 13 years or older.

  • Youth Facial: Ages 6–11.

  • Teen Facial: Ages 12–18.

Exceptions to these age guidelines may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Practitioner providing the service.

MINORS RECIEVING SERVICES

For any guest under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the service. Based on the discretion of the Practitioner and/or the minor guest, the parent or guardian may be asked to remain in the treatment room or just outside the treatment room throughout the durations of the service.

The Practitioner may determine the arrangement that best supports the minor guest’s comfort, safety, privacy, and the integrity of the service.

Sage Healing Collective reserves the right to modify or decline a service when the age, maturity, behavior, or individual circumstances of a minor guest make the service inappropriate or may interfere with the experience of the guest, Practitioner, or other clients.

No-Show, Last Minute Changes and Late Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When you schedule a visit at Sage Healing Collective, we set aside dedicated time to provide you with the highest quality care. Late cancellations or missed appointments create gaps in our schedule that could have been offered to other guests in need of care and directly impact our practitioners, who have reserved their time and expertise for you.

To ensure fairness and efficiency for all of our guests, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your scheduled appointment(s). Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to show for your appointment, will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total service(s) scheduled. This fee will be charged to the card on file, deducted from gift card balance,  or will remain on your account and must be paid prior to any future appointments.

While we do our best to fill appointments that are late-cancelled in order to help offset cancellation fees, we cannot guarantee that the appointment will be rebooked, and the cancellation policy will still apply.

If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you within the remaining scheduled time. However, you are responsible for the full cost of the originally scheduled appointment, even if the full service time is no longer available due to late arrival. You are also responsible for the full cost of the originally scheduled service if you change to a less expensive appointment within the 24-hour cancellation window.

This policy is not meant as a punishment, but rather as a way to honor and respect the time, preparation, and professional expertise of our practitioners, as well as the needs of other guests seeking care.

Repeat Offenders

Guests who repeatedly miss appointments or cancel late may be required to provide a 50% non-refundable deposit or pay for the service in full prior to scheduling future appointments. This deposit will be applied toward your scheduled service but will not be refunded in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. If you cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours’ notice, the deposit will remain as a credit on your account for future use. Deposits are non-refundable. This policy is applied on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of management

Additionally, guests who honor the late cancellation policy at 50%, but have 3+ no show/cancellations may be subject to a 100% charge of the service scheduled, at the discretion of the front desk staff or management.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us care for our community effectively. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact our office.

By scheduling an appointment with Sage Healing Collective, guests acknowledge and agree to these cancellation terms.
