Stretch, Movement & Mindfulness therapy at Sage is the perfect complement for all fitness levels, whether you currently exercise, are less agile, sedentary or working to correct acute or chronic movement dysfunctions.
Intentional movement should be done every day. Moving your body specifically and repeatedly sends signals to the brain to soften and lubricate joints. This helps to ward off unnecessary wear and tear of joints, prepare tissues for daily demands, and correct compensatory movements, along with improvements in posture, range of motion, bone density and balance.
Becoming mindful and paying attention to the messages your body is sending is key to self-care. Sage movement practitioners offer individual care, group classes and home-care instruction. Creating a lifestyle of daily stretch, movement and mindfulness keeps the body healthy and aligned.

Relax with Amy and Shawna for an 75 minutes of releasing and rebalancing. Experience the healing benefits of flow and frequency through Sound Healing, Yoga and Acupuncture.
The gathering will begin with some light movement to help center the mind and body. Then Amy will share some Traditional Chinese Medicine info. Each guest will receive the Acupuncture treatment to match, while being bathed by healing vibrations from a variety of instruments.
Please bring water, wear comfy clothes that can expose arms and ankles, and get ready to receive some love. All props provided.

Class Description:
In this class we will focus in on the season of spring which is represented by the wood element in the five element system. We will tune into this beautiful season where life takes flight and the seeds that were sown begin to sprout and the connection that it has to our mind body and spirit.
We will discuss the channels in our body that the the element wood corresponds with as well as specific pressure points and qi gong poses. Learn the folklore as well as medicinal properties of the plant Nettles Urtica dioica and the deep nourishment it offers to the water ways of our body as we transition from winter to spring /water to wood and sip on a nourishing infusion of Nettles.

Join Priscilla & Shawna for a transformative gathering of sisterhood combining the ancient practice of Yoni Steaming with the healing vibrations of a Sound Bath Meditation. This unique event is designed to encourage community, sharing, emotional balance, and holistic wellness.
Yoni Steaming is the gentle & therapeutic practice of steaming the female space. This practice involves sitting over a steaming pot of medicinal herbs, which can help with detoxification, menstrual health, and emotional well-being. Priscilla will facilitate the steam and encourage the group to share.
While you steam you will be immersed in a Sound Bath Meditation guided by Shawna.
